The Swiss Post has doubled its fleet of CargoScooters of the Oxygen Company. This brings the fleet of the Swiss Post to 1,000 Oxygen scooters and makes it the largest electric scooter fleet in the world. The lithium ion batteries used in the cargo scooter from Oxygen will not lose their performance over time and are over five years to maintain a top performance, even if it is charged seven times a week. The CargoScooter available with three battery options depending on the requirements of the fleet supervisor.

Simson in Suhl is history but at least the most successful model of the former East German motorcycle manufacturer returns. At the Intermot in Cologne showed Elektrofahrzeug-Werke (efz) Suhl a scooter with electric drive in the retro design of the classic bike. The market launch is planned for the end of the second quarter 2011.

Moto Guzzi sends the touring flagship Norge GT 8V with some retouches on tour next year. A modified panel should improve the weather protection and keep noise and engine heat more efficiently from the rider and passenger. The instruments have moved closer to the rider and ensure better readability.
