France: Gloves obligatory for motorcyclists

handschuhpflicht_motorrad_frankreich_460Riders and passengers of motorized two-wheeled vehicles must wear suitable protective gloves in France. In the case of an offense there is a threat of fines.
According to Décret n ° 2016-1232, which defines the new regulation, the gloves must have a CE mark. Infringements will be penalized with fines of up to 70 euros. The regulation has been in force since November 20th.
