Good news for beginners and hobby riders: KTM has unveiled a brand new enduro model explicitly dedicated to offroaders without competition ambitions – the Freeride 350.
The fuel-injected 350-cc- engine will output rider friendly and easy to handle 24 horse powers. Curb weight is indicated with only 99 kilograms.
Besides good offroad suitability the Freeride 350 is completely homologated and so ready for onroad use as well.
The light weight composite frame with tubular steel and aluminium parts seems to be adapted from the KTM e-bike.
Suspension is managed by an USD fork and a monoshock both manufactured by WP. Due to the targeted range of customers travel suspension is a bit shorter than in the competition bikes.
All the components appear valuable as in the EXC line: dual-piston caliper front brake, electric start, hydraulically operated clutch and aluminium handlebar.
More details will be available after the official launch at Eicma Motor Show in Milan in November.
