In the course of last year’s Wheels & Waves Festival, numerous conversions based on the Honda CBR 1000 R were created. Now, the twelve most successful custom bikes are facing the online voting of the net community.
The international customizers have put completely different designs on wheels based on the Honda CBR 1000 R for the Wheels & Waves Festival in Biarritz. There is, for example, a “CRF1000 Africa Four” inspired by the current Africa Twin, the monkey bike creation “Monkey Kong” or “Alfredo”, a homage to classic Freddie Spencer super bikes.
Custom-interested people now have the opportunity to create their personal ranking of these twelve custom bikes. Honda has set up a website on which the photos of the candidates can be put in the desired order. The result of the personal choice can be saved. The photo of the favourite conversion can be downloaded as a background image for desktop or smartphone and shared via social media.
Voting does not seem to have any further consequences, for example in terms of determining a general winning model that receives the most votes.
